including over 1000 hours of clinical internship. She was certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique.

As an acupuncturist and healer, Boróka’s goal is to empower her patients to fulfill their utmost potential in life. The choice of acupuncture points and other treatments awakens patients to their own healing potential. Finding the points with the clearest resonance with the present moment is how she reminds the body that it has the capacity to heal itself. By providing a tranquil space and non-judgmental listening, she supports her patients in finding the tools to make often huge, positive changes in their own lives.

Boróka’s training includes adjunctive therapies such as Chinese herbs, moxibustion, tui na,
cupping, auricular therapy, TCM Sports Medicine, TCM dietary and lifestyle recommendations, Five Elemental Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture, and Acupuncture for Facial Rejuvenation
to name a few.

Boróka is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and the American Association of Oriental Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Colorado. Boróka’s journey toward becoming a healer begun many years ago on the rolling hills of Transylvania, Romania. As a toddler, she would follow her grandmother as she collected herbs before every winter to heal the ailments of the members of her small village. She grew up marveling at the immense healing power of plants. In 2000, after over 10 years of practicing various Internal Martial Arts, she was introduced to Chinese Medicine after suffering an ankle injury in a Kung Fu class. With her ankle healed, she became a believer and resolved then to become a healer also.
